The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets returned home to Roe Stamps Field to take on the University of Central Florida Knights in a chilly Friday night affair. The Jackets took an early 3-0 lead and never looked back racing to a 17-3 win. The Jackets were set up all night by dominant play at the face-off dot by Tyler Harper and Mike Pullen. Georgia Tech was able to play make it take it lacrosse through much of the second quarter. When UCF did get the ball, the Jackets were tenacious in the ride forcing several failed clears. The defense was stout all night as well and the Tech goalies Alex Crombie, Gino Pagliaro, and Rob Kruszeski all played well between the pipes. Defensive midfielders Devan Knapp, Jack Sommers, and Zeke Day along with a crew of two way midfielders were tough defensively and controlled the middle of the field pushing transition for the Ramblin' Wreck. Tech got contributions from all over the roster on the way to the win.
